CEO of the Salient platform since 2023, Brian has over 26 years of experience in electrical distribution products. Brian founded Salient Power Solutions in 2016 and successfully grew the company before merging with PSI in 2022. Prior to Salient, Brian was one of the early employees at PowerSecure International, holding positions of division President, Chief Product Officer and Chief Innovation Officer across a 12-year career. From 1998 to 2003, Brian held positions at Eaton transforming various plants within Eaton’s portfolio. Brian holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
Andy Freiheit brings to the position more than 10 years of experience in executive management and operations. Previously, Andy has worked in a variety of operationally focused roles at Dow Chemical, Alcoa, Arconic, Johnson & Johnson, and Strategy&. He holds an MBA and MS from MIT, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
Mike Nixon leads sales for Salient and possesses 20+ years of industry sales expertise. Prior to joining Salient, Mike held various positions at Square D, PL&E Sales, and ABB.
Joey Macourek oversees finance and accounting functions for Salient with a proven track record of success. Over the past decade, he has served in various roles at LFM Capital, Loftis Steel and Aluminum, LMBC, and BKD CPAs & Advisors. Joey earned his BBA from Belmont University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
